We source our fruit from orchards that are nestled amongst the pristine mountains of Southern China. The non-GMO vine-ripened monk fruit, swathed in sunlight, is nurtured by our expertly-trained growers who hand-pick the fruit at the peak of ripeness each fall, following the tradition that has been practiced for generations.
At Monk Fruit Corp. a dedicated grower network uses world-class horticultural systems, supervised by an experienced team of agronomists. These agronomists provide on-site guidance to the growers, monitoring the process from harvest till the delivery of the fruit. Monk Fruit Corp. is the first company to ensure the use of ecologically-friendly farming and processing methods such as drip irrigation for reducing water and fertilizer use in our growers’ monk fruit orchards.

Crushing the fruit to release its natural, sweet juice.
Mixing the crushed fruit with hot water to make a sweet infusion.
Filtering the infusion which leaves behind a clear, sweet juice.
The clear and sweet juice is full of anti-oxidants and a very small amount of natural fruit sugar, making it a delicious, low-calorie sweetening ingredient. To make our clean-tasting, natural, and zero-calorie monk fruit extract we separate the fruit sugars from the sweet anti-oxidants and then spray dry to make a powder extract.
